Virna Little, a psychologist and licensed clinical social worker with extensive experience working in providing behavioral health services in a variety of settings, recently joined ACU’s 10-member board of directors.
Little currently serves as senior vice president for psychosocial services and community affairs at the Institute for Family Health. She oversees programs in 26 centers throughout New York City and the Hudson Valley Region.
ACU executive director Kathie Westpheling said that having Little on the board will help ACU strengthen its focus on integrating mental and behavioral health services in primary care settings. Little said, “I am committed to serving the underserved and to the development of integrated models to expand access and improve quality of care for all communities.”
