National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH), CDC: NIOSH’s Asthma and Allergies webpage includes publications, research updates, and surveillance information on occupational asthma.

U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD): HUD’s Office of Lead Hazard Control and Healthy Homes webpage includes links to asthma-related healthy homes fact sheets, training programs, and outreach materials, including the Help Yourself to a Healthy Home booklet.

Federal Funding Opportunities: Search Grants.gov for grants, cooperative agreements, and other funding opportunities offered by the 26 federal grant-making agencies by keywords or other criteria.

U.S. EPA Indoor Air Quality Division: This webpage, by the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), contains multiple resources on how to control indoor asthma triggers. The EPA also has a similar web page in Spanish that offers asthma related information and resources.

National Heart Lung and Blood Institute: This webpage contains a variety of asthma resources including interactive web applications, such as Asthma Materials for Schools and Guidelines for the Diagnosis and Treatment of Asthma.

The Centers for Disease and Prevention (CDC): This webpage includes information on the National Asthma Control Program, asthma FAQs, and information for specific groups. Another asthma resource by the CDC is Asthma’s Impact on the Nation, an informative poster with asthma statistics and facts.

Agency of Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ): AHRQ’s National Healthcare Quality and Disparities Reports (NHQR/DR)webpage has national and state-specific health care quality information, including a searchable database and special focus areas on asthma and other chronic diseases.
